The Executive Committee has approved a proposal to start a monthly social and sports gathering for our community at Kadwa Patidar Centre. This gathering will be based on the Senior Citizens Mandal and last the Friday of the month party which are both running very successfully over the years.
The aim is to have this family gathering on the same day as the last Friday of the month gathering so that the whole family including children, youth, ladies and senior citizens can also come along. The last Friday of month party will continue in the same format as before so that the members who attend this gathering will continue to enjoy the party as before. All SKPS (UK) members are welcomed to this gathering and we are hoping that this gathering will become a fun evening out for the whole family every month.
We are planning to organise various activities for people from all age groups and make it as exciting and enjoyable as possible. To start with the games and activities will include Badminton (two courts), Table Tennis (two tables), darts, pool, Carrom and other board games, chopad, poker, cards etc. We are also planning to organise fun games in the hall. Once the Dining hall extension is completed we will be able to expand badminton courts, tabel tennis tables and other activities if necessary.
The convenor of this event is Kiritbhai Trambadia who will be supported by a group of volunteers. The gathering will start at 6.00pm and finish around 11.00pm. Vegetarian food (different varieties each month) will be served between 8.30 and 9.30pm. We already have donors for food for the next five months. If you wish to donate food in the future or help out in the organisation please e-mail kiritpatel@sunageurope.com or phone Kiritbhai Trambadia on 020 8537 0155.
It important for us to know how many people are planning to come along (the more the merrier) so that we organise sufficient food for everyone. Please email your RSVP with number of people attending from your family to alpspatel@aol.com or phone Alpesh Makadia on 020 8908 6501.
