Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Sunday, 11 April 2010 at 12.00noon at the Kadwa Patidar Centre. All SKPS (UK) members are invited to attend this meeting. The papers for both organisations, Shree Kadwa Patidar Samaj (UK) and Kadwa Patidar Samaj (UK) Ltd, have been sent out with the newsletter in March.
We are very pleased that over 200 people attended the last two AGMs and we would like to see even more people taking interest especially the youths. It’s very important that our members make every effort to attend the AGM to show their support. The agenda include the President’s address, report from the chair of the KPS (UK) Ltd and elections for both organisations. The best way to have your say in the running of your Samaj is by attending the AGM and casting your vote.
The election procedures have been revised this year and an Election Committee has been set up to manage and conduct any election and Mansukhbhai Changela (Ex- President) has been appointed as a Chair of this committee. The AGM will last approximately two to three hours. Snacks and light refreshments will be provided after the meeting.
